We are pleased to announce that Quicksilva has recently demonstrated its continued commitment to cyber security by being awarded the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Plus Certificate of Compliance.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed cyber security certification scheme that enables organisations to demonstrate their credentials for being able to establish clear cyber security controls – which when implemented correctly, can prevent around 80% of cyber-attacks.
Gayna Hart, Managing Director and Founder said, “We take the threat of cyber-attack very seriously and we are very pleased to have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification. As a G-Cloud supplier this additional certification provides further reassurance of our committed approach to information security.”
In order to achieve Cyber Essentials Plus certification, Quicksilva underwent a series of independent testing including an external vulnerability scan and on-site assessment. This achievement complements the certification to the ISO27001 Information Security Standard, which Quicksilva holds.
Andy Cripps, Quicksilva’s Operations Director and himself qualified in the field of cyber security, would be pleased to assist other organisations in their drive to increase their own secure defenses, he said, “Quicksilva have provided security consultancy assistance to other companies in the past. I think it gives people confidence to know that our consultants have been through this themselves and can offer a realistic view of risks.”
